You can also spend the day on various train themed attractions, such as a fully restored vintage Iron Horse carousel that plays old time railroad songs (including Johnny Cash's "Orange Blossom Special"), a giant High Iron four-story (46 foot) Ferris Wheel, a Dragon Train Roller Coaster, Sonoma TrainTown Airlines, the high flying Chattanooga Choo Choo Chairs, the Locomotion, and other fun rides!
Our hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and, weather permitting, the park is open every day from June 1st thru Labor Day with all the rides to enjoy.
During the months of September thru May, the park is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. On Fridays come and enjoy a ride on the Train with a stop at the petting zoo. The Iron Horse Carousel and the Sonoma TrainTown Airlines will also be available. On Saturdays and Sundays we have the Carousel, the Airplane rides, the Scrambler, our Ferris Wheel, Swing Chair & Roller Coaster all open for your enjoyment ~ and the Train too ~ all weather permitting.

Whether you're an over-sophisticated or under-sophisticated train enthusiast, make tracks to Sonoma TrainTown and spend a day in the heart of Wine Country riding on "grand" scale trains. This is a one-and-one-quarter-mile scale railroad adventure with narrow-gauge train replicas of those back in the good ol’ days.
You’ll be touring over 10 heavily wooded acres riding on 15 inch gauge tracks in open cars pulled by a 1927 Hudson 5212 Locomotive or one of our Diesels with a nice miniature caboose bringing up the rear. Over bridges and trestles, through tunnels and past waterfalls we’ll travel to the town of Lakeville with buildings scaled at one-half size!
And, if you're not up for the trip, you can watch the chugging from our 47 foot clock tower - an observation platform replica of Oakland's former 16th Street Train Depot!
